About

For better or for worse (lets be honest, it's worse) I've been a reddit user since it first started to unseat Digg. It was for the longest time, an open platform where useful information, fairly ranked, could be shared and discussed. Then they decided to IPO and it all went down the toilet; egregious monetization, predatory API pricing, forced replacement of mod teams who were (justifiably) on strike, and forced re-opening of subreddits closed in protest plus many many more ongoing problems.

Despite the negtivity, reddit's userbase is most likely the largest on the internet in terms of link-sharing communities. You cannot find this quantity and quality of content anywhere else.

Feeddit is my attempt to bridge the gap between the old reddit I loved, and the new reddit I do not. It's a way to get the content people share, without the noise and shadiness that come with the modern version of the site.
